“I can't recommend Sam highly enough. Sam was my boss at Oxford VR where we were using Unity to make VR treatments for mental health. He put the dev team together from scratch, then ran it. We hit all our deadlines (and exceeded agreed specs), without crunch. Sam had a fantastic management style - creating a team that felt like a family, while enhancing rather than sacrificing productivity. He's easy to talk to and receptive to different ideas. As a lead I felt very much empowered and supported, but at the same time you always knew that Sam was on top of things enough to step in and put his foot down when needed. When that did happen, it always made sense. He could do that because he has such an in-depth understanding of all elements the development process, and more than enough skills in a fair few of them to get by (I can specifically vouch for his coding). Plus he knows VR inside and out. It's hard to imagine anyone better qualified or accomplished at running a VR dev team. ”
